Personal Notes:

Frederick Pratt was born in 1876 at his parents’ public house on the old Sydney Rd, Ivor District which was part of Worthington Station, unfenced and uninhabited for miles. The family later moved to Old Junee then Wagga Wagga where Fred attended a school in Gurwood Street for a time. He leased 1723 acres with his father at Junee Reefs in the mid 1890s. Fred was largely self-educated, very well read on matters of the nation and agriculture. Fred was a very civic minded man.
