Personal Notes:
John and Mary Nixon and their family travelled with Thomas Mate in bullock drays, camping at Tarcutta Creek near Wagga Wagga. Mate squatted at Tarcutta. The Nixons went on to Gregadoo and squatted there. They had cattle, fine shorthorns were bred. Dairying was started, butter and cheese made. This was taken to Sydney by bullock dray. They had six teams trading between Wagga Wagga and Sydney.
