Rebecca died in diphtheria outbreak helping the Adams family of Alfredtown who lost five children.
William Wright came to Australia with his parents, Joseph and Rebecca. Joseph owned and farmed land at Fairy Hole Creek near Yass where the George family also lived. About 1874, William with his family and parents moved to Alfredtown to farm land near Kyeamba Creek. After the death of Mary, then William, Rebecca was left to raise her young grandchildren. |
