Robert F. McCutchin (his spelling), b. 1806, Co. Tipperary, Ireland, (my g.g.grandfather) [Church records indicate his parents to be Robert McCutchin and Mary Flewelline, m.1801 and resident at Killalane, Co. Tipperary at the time of birth of Robert F.] m. (in Ireland) 20 Nov 1827 to Mary Ann Caswell, b. 1804. They and their first 7 children (Catherine b.1828; John b. 1839; Mary Ann b. 1831; Elizabeth b. 1834; Anne b. 1837; Robert b. 1839; William b. 1842) emigrated from Ireland (possibly from Killaloe, Co. Clare) to W. Nissouri Twp, Middlesex Co, Ontario, Canada in 1843. Reply 23 Feb 2001 Hello Richard, My only relationship to this family is through marriage on Robert McCutcheon (b. Jan. 18 1839)line. He had four children that I know of: Mary Jane "Jennie" (1872-1935), Ernest Seebury (1873-1954), Almina gertrude (1885-1885) and Helena "Lena" Florence (1886 - 1976). My father's sister Ina Helena Robson (1883 - 1967)married Ernest in Mar. 28, 1914 in London Township. Most of their descendants are living in W. Nissouri, Ontario Canada. London Township is the township west of W.N. I am not sure who in that family is interested in genealogy. Hope that this is a little of the information that you were looking for. |
