Parents married 5 Feb 1830 Contin 1861 - CON - Aged 26 Head, Sheep Manager Went to Australia about 1861 Left an illegitimate son Alexander behind him. He took the child from his mother at birth and gave him to his own mother. Then abandoned him. When Sarah MacColl died the boy was made an orphan See PLA - Con 1865 and 1866 Mother of boy was Betsy Fraser - not married.
