Personal Notes:
Alfred Potter was born at Yass, the son of George Thomas Potter, formerly a Captain in the
28th Regimment, and Emily Catherine Jersey Lockyer.

Alfred Potter and his wife settled on Tumut Plains in l875 where he was employed as a stockman by Rowland Shelley and also on Blowering Station by Jogeph Lambert. Alfred Potter married Martha Hoad in l878.
