Obituary.
Mr. A. McPherson The death occurred in the Wagga Base Hospital on Monday evening of a very old and esteemed resident of Tarcutta in Mr. Alexander McPherson, of Sydney St., Tarcutta, at the age of 84 years. The late Mr. McPherson was born at Mansfield (Vic) and had resided in the Riverina for a great many years, and in his younger days was in the employ of the Railway Department. For the past 40 years he had resided in Tarcutta. He is survived by three sons, Ernest James, of Tarcutta; Cecil William, of Burrell Lakes, South Coast; and Arthur Charles, of Kyeamba. Two daughters, Lillian (Mrs. A. L. Schumer) of Uranquinty, and Ivy (Mrs. T. H. Jones) of Tarcutta, and one sister, Mrs. J. King of Yarrawonga. His wife and son, and daughter predeceased him. The funeral will take place at Tarcutta today. The cortege will arrive at the Tarcutta Cemetery at 3 o'clock. Inscription In Loving Memory Of Dear Father & Mother Alexander McPherson Died 25th July 1955. Aged 84 years. Ellen McPherson Died 29th October 1947. Aged 67 years. |
