Personal Notes:
Thomas Halloran purchased a property at Lake Albert and a river paddock near Oura in 1882. He established a ‘Boiling Down’ plant at Lake Albert in 1883 to produce tallow. In 1884 he purchased ‘Fernleigh’ and a draper's store in Fitzmaurice Street. He was President of the Wagga Wagga Shakespeare Society & Play Readings were frequently held at ‘Fernleigh’. He represented NSW in interstate games of Chess via The Telegraph.
