Robert John Elliott, a wheelwright of Gundagai. You have referred to him committing suicide by shooting himself in the head. This was actually his son Robert Pinkerton Elliott. Robert John also died in 1891 but on 4 June 1891 at his residence in South Gundagai. Cause of death was senile decay.
