Taught navigation to pilots in WW2. Pilot Officer with service Number 277401. Discharged 17 jan 1946.

Born and educated in Charters Towers, He excelled a a student and in the sports field. Attended Teachers Training College in Brisbane and graduated as a Primary Teacher, serviing in several schools in Queensland before obtaining his B.A. while living in Cloncurry. After several years he was promoted as Deputy Principal to Mt Morgan, Indooroopilly And Balmoral. Then as Principal to Murgon, Beenleigh, Caboolture and lastly Bremer High School in Ipswich, from where he retired in 1976. He and Mavis moved to Strathpine to spend a well earned retirement, but sadly he passed away suddenly the following year.

he taught Maths to the Air Training Corps during the war years in Mackay. Also English to the incoming migrants after the war through the Adult Education.
