" BAYLIS - DYER

A very pretty wedding took place on Wednesday week last at All Saints' Church of England, Petersham, when Miss Alice Ann Dyer, second daughter of the late Mr. S. E. Dyer, of Windsor, was married to Mr. Arthur Charles Leitch Baylis, eighth son of Mr. Henry Baylis, ex-Police Magis trate for Wagga. The Rev. Robert E. Goddard,. B.A., officiated. The bride, who was given away by her brother-in-law, Mr. W. J. Skinner, wore a becoming dress of white tucked silk, richly trimmed with duchesse lace and white chiffon. She wore a white picture hat trimmed with ostrich feathers, and carried a pretty shower bouquet of jonquils and tuber roses, the gift of the bridegroom. The bridesmaid, Miss Rosie Moore, was attired in a dainty costume of white voile, with white glace strappings and white hat to match, tastefully trimmed with red berries and white chiffon.

She wore a gold turquoise and pearl brooch, the gift of the bridegroom. Mr. Frank Baylis fulfilled the duties of best man. After the ceremony the bridal party adjourned to the residence of the bride's brother-in-law, where a reception was held, and the newly married couple were showered with rice and confetti. After the health of the bride and bridegroom was honored and the happy couple received the congratulations of their many friends, they left on their honeymoon tour. The bride's travelling costume was a black voille skirt, pale blue silk blouse, and black picture hat. The wedding presents were numerous and handsome."
