| - Notes: Apparently Annie and John divorced in 1926 , and I did find something about him serving in the war but it wasn’t nsw listed so I wasn’t sure if it was him but in the documents it had him marrying someone else at age 31.
All I can find on Annie is that she died after 1946 . I can not find a death certificate for her though . Sarah j bateup ( married James Warner ) I can not find death cert for her either and father is unknown but mother is Mary Bateup . My aboriginal heritage is meant to come from the Warner’s side but they are from England and the only way I can see this being possible is from Sarah’s ( my great great grandmother ) father. My cousin tells me that both Sheila and Robert were indigenous ( can’t find anything on Annie, Sheilas mum to confirm) but more so Robert . It’s very confusing and stressful , I’m not sure how you had the patience to find out all of the family histories that you have done already . |
