The youngest child of Kate and John Buckley, Edward married Selina Elizabeth Ambrosina Blyton
15 Apr 1912 in Cooma, New South Wales. The couple lived in small house on brother Con's property, then moved to Goulburn in 1914 where he worked on the Railway. After his death, Selena moved to Wollongong where she had the Illawarra Guest House and later, flats at Woonona. After the family had all married, she moved around among them.
