Personal Notes:
Ellen Elizabeth Moore was born at the family home in Earl Street, Junee in 1891. She helped her parents before she was married, also helped after that at times when they were running a boarding house in Boundary Street, Junee. As a young woman she had been a keen horse-woman, and good athlete at local picnic days. She devoted her life to service in the Methodist Church, Junee - volunteering for Flower Shows, fetes etc. She had a pet galah which was known far and wide for its mimicry of things she would say. The bird lived on long after she died and you'd swear it was her speaking. Lizzie was organist in the church, a keen gardener and used to assist the local Florist Shop with arrangements. Children listed with father.
