Mr. C. Atkinson, an old resident of the Tumut district, and widely respected, has passed away. The deceased, who was 52 years of age and unmarried, had for years been located at Gooberagandra, where he carried on grazing pursuits. He suffered from cancer on tho liver and over a month ago he been an inmate of the Gundagai Hospital. But medical skill was powerless to arrest the progress of his complaint, and he died there a few days ago.
