SHEPARDSTOWN DEATH OF MRS BARTINETTI Mrs. Clara Emmeline Bartinetti died at her residence, Shepardstown, early on Thursday morning, after a short illness of four days, from bronchitis, from which she was apparen tly recovering under the treatment of Dr. Wiles and the tender care of her daughter, Alice, but suddenly collapsed from heart failure and passed away painlessly. Deceased was born at Picton in 1860, and at an early age arrived with her parents, the late Mr. and Mrs. Ballard, at Gundagai, where she lived until her marriage to the late Mr. Bartinetti at Wagga. The couple made their home at Humula until 20 years ago, when they took up some land on Adelong Creek, Shepardstown, and made an orchard, where they reared a family and where both died, Mr. Bartinetti predeceasing her by 16 years. Deceased left three children, viz : Patrick Bartinetti of Tumut, Mrs. Francis Wilson of Adelong; Mrs. Thos. (Alice) Wilson, of Shepardstown, and 14 grandchildren. The funeral took place on Friday, when her remains were laid in their last resting place in the R.C. portion of the Adelong Cemetery, Rev Fr. H. J. , Devine officiating. Constable (first-class) A. E. M. Sliipway, of Wagga, has been noti fied of his transfer to take charge of the Batlow district.
