The Tumut and Adelong Times 1 Nov 1927
The death occurred on Friday last, at her home, Upper Tarcutta, of Mrs. Eliza Eva Clemson at the age of 72 years. The deceased lady was the wife of Mr. Arthur Clemson, of Tarcutta, and mother of the well known and highly respected Clemson family. She was born at Campbelltown, and was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Rudd. She was married at Wagga, and her husband, four sons and three daughters survive her. They are: Leslie Joseph (Wagga), Percy (Leeton), George and Herbert (Tarcutta), Mrs John Jones (Wagga), Mrs. Charles Cooper, and Mrs. Louis Cox (Tarcutta). She also leaves a number of grandchildren. Deceased spent her life at Nangus and Tarcutta, where she was very highly respected for her many kind and charitable acts.
