OBITUARY
Mrs E. Brennan
There passed away at Eurobin (Tumut district) on Monday last a lady who belongs to a family well known right throughout the south. Mrs E. Brennan (nee Miss Frances Crowe) had been ill for some time and latterly her friends held out no hope of her recovery, and she passed away, at the age of seventy years, as stated. Her husband predeceased her some seventeen years ago, and the management of the property has devolved on Mr. James Brennan, a fine type of young Australian; he is the only boy of the family. The remains of the deceased were interred in the Tumut cemetery, and the funeral was well attended. Mrs. Brennan had five daughters, and one died some time ago; two of the girls are Sisters in the Tumut Convent, another in a Convent at Gawler (S.A.), and yet another is a Sister in a Melbourne Convent; the Brennan family was always looked upon as one of the most worthy in the south.
