- Notes: FUNERAL. The funeral of the late Mrs. Badgery took place yesterday afternoon. The cortege was a lengthy one, and included many prominent residents. The chief mourners present were the bereaved family and a large number of relatives. There was a number of floral tributes sent by relatives and friends of the family. The Rev. G. H. Hirst officiated at the graveside, and Mr. Henry Lazarus conducted the funeral arrangements. The deceased lady, who was only 27 years of age, was a member of one of the best known and respected families in the State. The deepest sympathy is felt for Mr. Badgery in the loss of a devoted wife.
