| Personal Notes: |
| George Wild arrived in Wagga Wagga by bullock team. He married Emma Marmon in 1852 and settled in Johnston Street. Moved to Lake Albert to try farming, selecting land known as Pleasant Valley. A small building was built on the corner of his farm - used as school, Church, Sunday School. George became a lay reader. There has been a school at Lake Albert continually since 1868. |
