| - Notes: Joseph Henry Bale (who married Mary Ann Pendergast in Cooma, 1876), was the brother of my g.g.g.grandmother Jane Bale. I see that you have listed Joseph's parents as Joseph Bale and Elizabeth North but that information is not correct. Joseph's parents were James Bale born Somerset in 1806 and Elizabeth Vinnecombe born Exeter, Devon in 1806. The family came out in 1841 with five children and subsequntly had four more in NSW of which Joseph Henry was one.
22 Oct 2019 I notice that you don’t have James’ death date - it’s the 25th August 1889. He died at Gladesville Hospital. He had been an inmate there for 34 years at the time of his death. His parents names were James Bale (1772-1837) and Jane Collard (1772-1852) married 3 February 1799 Winsford, Somerset. Jane’s parish was Brushford and her parents names were James Collard and Jane Collins married 16 June 1752 Brushford, Somerset. Elizabeth Vinnicombe’s parents were Joseph Vinnicombe (1770?-1841) who was a Weaver and Sarah Easterbrook (b. 1772). They were married 5 November 1794 St. Sidwell’s Exeter. |
