The daughter of Ann nee McMillan and James McLichere. Isabella married Malcome McGregor on 4 Jul 1836 in Campbelltown, Argyllshire, Scotland. They emigrated to the colony in 1838 with their children, Mary and James. They were the first of this family of McGregors to arrive in the Colony. They arrived in Port Jackson, Sydney on 18 Dec 1838 on the ship "Portland".
