Father of Lillian (Jones) Leech, Violet (Jones) Maguire, May (Jones) Pollock, Gladys (Jones) Coleman, James Jones, Hilda (Jones) O'Keefe, Walter Jones, Percy Jones, Arthur Jones and Thomas Jones.
Obituary Mr. J. Jones The death occurred at his home yesterday morning of Mr. James Jones, of 81 Kincaid Street, Wagga, and formerly of Tarcutta, at the age of 89 years. The late Mr. Jones was very well known in the Tarcutta district, having conducted a bakery business known as Jones and Sons, at Tarcutta for 35 years prior to his retirement to Wagga in June of this year. He is survived by five sons, Messrs. James and Walter of Dubbo, Percy of Sydney, Arthur of Wagga and Thomas of Tarcutta, four daughters, Lillian (Mrs. C. Leech) of Trentham Vic., Violet (Mrs. A. Maguire) of Albury, May (Mrs. J. Pol lock) of Holbrook, and Gladys (Mrs. R. Coleman) of Wagga. His wife predeceased him in 1951 and one daughter, Hilda (Mrs. O'Keefe) of Tasmania in March of this year. The funeral will take place this afternoon. The cortege will leave his late residence, Kincaid Street, at 1 p.m., for the Tarcutta Cemetery, where internment is appointed to take place at 2.30 in the Church of England portion.
