John (Jack) Thomas MOORE was born in 1892 and raised on the farm at "Inglewood". He farmed sheep and wheat with his brother, Bill. Jack was a Lay Preacher in the Methodist Church; he intended to enter the Leigh College in Sydney and train as a Methodist Minister. He was engaged to a Miss Maggie White of "The Homestead.
