Personal Notes:
Malcolm Athol Wallace McLeod. Malcolm was born 27 April 1894 in Gundagai . He was a sheep classer at “Haddon Rig” near Warren in Central Western NSW for over 40 years. He achieved great distinction in the wool industry, and even published a book on sheep breeding. He was a sheep judge and worked as one at the Sydney Sheep Show as well as Christchurch, New Zealand. He was also a breeder and judge of Collie dogs and he also ran a Poll Shorthorn Cattle Stud.

He married Margaret “Dot” Sullivan in 1920 in Sydney . They did not have any children. Following her death he married Coralie Lillian Taylor on the 2 December 1961 . He died on the 1 December 1989 aged 95 in Dubbo, NSW .
