Aged 6 years 8 months Daughter of William and Margaret nee McGrath The Manaro Mercury, and Cooma and Bombala Advertiser (NSW : 1862 - 1931) Mon 20 Sep 1909 THE daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Osmond, Mary Osmond familiarly known as "Molly" Osmond, of Cooma, died in the Cooma District Hospital on Thursday morning at the age of 6 years and 8 months. The patient contracted scarlatina fever about a month ago, and afterwards measles, and on admission to the hospital on Thursday week was in a very low condition. On Monday last an operation was performed which was most successful, but little hope was held out for recovery, and the patient continued in a low state until Thursday when she peace fully passed away. The remains were removed to St Patrick's Church, and the funeral left there at three o'clock on Friday afternoon for the Mittagang cemetery where the, remains were interred in the Roman Catholic portion of that cemetery. The Rev. Father Norris, P.P., officiated at the grave. The parents received numerous floral tributes, letters and telegrams of sympathy in their sad bereavement. Gravesite Details Aged 6 years
