Personal Notes:
Leonard Arentz, Stephen Arentz, Reuben Arentz, and Wallace Arentz were all farmers at Tumut. They first rented a farm at Tumut Plains from Rowland Shelley. Moving to Petfield they rented the original homestead from Robert Cooke on a condition that they were permitted to have it during their lifetime. Their sons carried on the farm for years after the death of the parents.
