DEATH OF MRS. CROAKER, Sen.

YESTERDAY morning another old andrespected resident of the Yass district passed away in the person of Mrs. Croaker, senr., wife of the late Mr. Joseph Croaker, of Murrumbateman, at the age of 56. The deceased lady has been ailing for some time past, and was brought into Mr. H. Ranyard's, where she was attended to and received everykindness from Mr. and Mrs. Ranyard and the members of her family. The deceased has has been a resident of Murrumbateman for many years and was always a very kind and obliging neighbour. She leaves behind two sons, Mr. Joseph and Mr. Charles Croaker, and two daughters, Mrs. Hay Mair and Mrs. Sherd. The funeral will take place to-day at 3 o'clock.
