IT is our painful duty. to announce the death of Reginald, second son of Mr. John Callaghan; which took place at his parents' residence on Sunday evening at the early age of 17 years. Some three weeks ago, deceased developed a small sore on the face and from this blood-poisoning arose. Dr. Blackall, who was called in, was unremitting in his attention and for some time entertained hops of his patient's recovery, though the case was a very bad one. A few days ago, however, septic pneumonia supervened and death took place as stated. ,The deceased was a fine, steady, promising young man and for some time had been in the employment of Mr. Allan O'Neill as driver in which capacity his obliging disposition earned him the respect of those with whom he came in contact. Much sympathy is expressed for the bereaved parents and family. The funeral took place this afternoon, the remains being interred in the Roman Catholic cemetery, in the presence of a large number of relatives and friends.
