MRS. M. J. HILTON
The funeral of the late Mrs. Mary Jane Hilton, of 16a Broad street, Wagga, whose death occurred at the Wagga Base Hospital on Tuesday morning at the age of 79 years, took place at Tarcutta yesterday afternoon. A large and representative cortege moved from St. Mark's Church of England after a service conducted by the Rev. J. C. Whight, of Tarcutta. Interment took place in the family portion of the Tarcutta Cemetery, the Rev. Whight officiating at the graveside.

The casket was carried by Messrs. Albert, Jack, Roy, Lindsay, Thomas and Richard Hilton(sons), while the floral tray, laden with wreaths, was carrlcd by Messrs. Bert Hilton (son), Reg Whiting, Frank Carswell and Charles Tobln (sons-in-law).

The chief mourners at the graveside were Mrs. Frank Carswell, Mrs. E. Pendrlck, Mrs. A R. Whiting, and Mrs. C. Tobin (daughters), Messrs. John, Bert, Albert, Richard, Thomas, Lindsay and Roy Hilton (sons). Mrs. James Brown (sister), Messrs. Chas. Tobin, Frank Carswell, Reg White and E. Pendrlck (sons-in-law), Mr. and Mrs. James Hilton, Mr. and Mrs. George Hilton (brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law), Misses Joyce, Norma Hilton, Dawn Hilton, Merle Tobin, John Tobin, Lurline Tobin, Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Watkins, Mervyn Watkins, Mr. and Mrs. Leo Hand, Mrs. J. Podmore,(grandsons and granddaughters), Edward Brown, Arnold Rodd, James and Leslie Rodd, Les and Fred Rodd, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Hilton, (nephews and nieces).
Unable to be present were Mrs. Bootes (sister) and Messrs. George and Alfred Hilton
(sons).

The funeral arrangements were conducted by Mr. J. C. McDonald, of Wagga.

MRS. M. J, HILTON
The death occurred at the Wagga Base Hospital yesterday, of Mrs. Mary Jane Hilton, of 16a Broad street, Wagga, and late of Tarcutta, at the age of 79 years. Mrs. Hilton was the widow of the late Mr. John Thomas Hilton, who predeceased her about two years ago. She was born at Mundarlo, and had resided in Tarcutta and Wagga all her life.

She Is survived by nine sons, Messrs. George (Sydney), John (Sydney), Bertie (Wagga), Albert (Tarcutta), Richard (Coolamon), Alfred (Port Kembla), Thomas and Lindsay (both of Wagga) and Roy Hilton (Temora); also four daughters, Ettie(Mrs. Frank Carswell), of Wagga; Alice (Mrs. E. Pendrick), of Sydney, Ivy (Mrs. A. R. Whiting), of Gundillawah, and Dorothy (Mrs. C.Tobin) of Tarcutta. and two sisters. Mrs. H. J. Bootes of Orange, and Mrs. J. Brown of Tarcutta.

The funeral will take place at Tarcutta this afternoon, leaving St. Mark's Church of England at 3 o'clock for the Tarcutta cemetery.
