Personal Notes:
Ann's father Richard was an ex English sailor. In 1828 he was confined to the colony because of his Rum Corp for Sodomy off the coast of Mexico. Her mother Sarah, b. c1784 in Dublin arrived on the William Pitt for stealing clothing. By the time Ann was 3, again her mother was convicted of theft and was transported to Newcastle for 7 yrs, taking with her Ann's brother Richard. Ann remained with her father.
