LORD-HIBBS. A very pretty wedding took place at St. Mary's Church of England, Caulfield, on Wednesday. March 8th, between Mr A. A. Lord, of Eisternwick, and Miss Florence Hibbs, elder daughter of Mr Geo. Hibbs, a well-known resident of Eisternwick. The bride looked a vision of loveliness in ninon and white crepe de chine, embroidered with pearls, court train lined with pale pink ninon and a lovely hand worked veil. The bride also carried a shower bouquet of white roses. The bridesmaids looked very dainty in white crepe de chine and shadow lace, and carried pink roses. The bridegroom was supported by Mr A. Hibbs, brother of the bride. The reception and wedding tea was held at ' Henley," St. George's road, and was very efficiently catered for by Mr Ford, of Windsor. A very delightful evening was spent, the violin solos by Miss Gibbons being specially appreciated. The happy couple left for a trip to Warburton amidst a shower of confetti and congratulations. A fine display of presents, cheques and telegrams spoke well for the popularity of the bride. The bride's mother, who was celebrating the 33rd anniversary of her own wedding day, was effectively gowned in black. The bridegroom's mother was becomingly attired in navy blue. The bridegroom presented a silver chain bag to Miss Ada Hibbs, and a dainty little brooch to Miss Molly Lord.
