WEDDING BELLS.

A quiet but very pretty wedding took place at Christ Church, Castlemaine on Thursday, 25th October, in the presence of the relatives and immediate friends of the bride and bridegroom. The contract ing parties were David Sinclair, son of Mrs and the late Mr Christian Mikkelsen, of" The Grange," Moolort, and Miss Alice May, second daughter of Mr and Mrs N. Neilson, " Mt, Lomond," Baringhup East, The ceremony was performed by the Rev E. S. Yeo, vicar of Holy Trinity Church, Maldon, who was granted special leave from camp, to be present. Miss Amy Neilson, sister of the bride, acted as bridesmaid, while the bridegroom was supported by Mr Neil Neilson, jun. Both the bride and her attendant were taste fully and daintily attired in most becoming costumes. Tbe bride carried a beautiful flower bouquet of garden flowers, and the bridesmaid a dainty bouquet of pink carnations, both being been made by Mrs Maud Williams, of Maldon.
After the wedding breakfast a sumptuous breakfast was partaken of in Christ Church Sunday School, the catering being in the capable hands of Mr W. Penny, of Castlemaine. The usual toasts were duly honored and responded to.
Subsequently the happy couple departed, amid showers of confetti, for Melbourne, en route for the Gippsland Lakes, where the honeymoon was spent.
On their arrival home, Mr and Mrs D. Mikkelsen were welcomed by a large number of their friends, at a most enjoy able evening held at their home, "The Grange," Moolort,

NEILSON. —On the 19th April, at his residence, Mount Lamond Park, Baringhup East, Neil Neilson, beloved husband of Catherine Neilson, much loved father of Jessie (Mrs. Yelland, deceased). Neil, Jack, Alice (Mrs. Mikklesen), Amy, Charles, and Maud, aged 70 years.
