At Stagmount station, Aramac, July 28, the marriage of Mr Cedric Henry Wills (eldest son of Mr.H.S.H. Wills, of Springsure) to Miss Sheelah Claire McAuliffe (second daughter of the late Mr and Mrs J.D. McAuliffe, of Stagmount) was celebrated.
Bride's brother Denis McAuliffe.
Bridesmaid - Miss Doris McAuliffe - sister of the bride.
Train bearers - Miss Ida Wills (sister of the bridegroom) and .....
Subsequently Mr abd Mrs C.H.Wills motored to Aramac station where they will in future reside.

RESIDENTS of Alpha were shocked to hear of the recent sudden death of Mr. Cedric Henry Spencer Wills.
Mr. Wills, who was born in Springsure, was educated at Rockhampton Grammar School. As a young man he went to Aramac Station as overseer and after a few years be came manager.
When Aramac Station was thrown open for selections, Mr. Wills bought Edgbaston in the Aramac district.
Later he purchased The Grove, Alpha, where he resided until his death.
Those left to mourn his loss are his wife, daughter Norma (Mrs. Rostron, Alpha) and son Allan, his father, Mr. Horace Wills, of Springsure, sisters Marge and Ida Wills, Springsure, Jessie (Mrs. C. Shailer, IIfracombe), and a brother, Stuart, who lives at Ayr.
