MORTON. — On the 11th June, at the residence of his son-in-law, Mr. J. P. Kemp, Mackay, Queensland, Captain Thomas Morton, Fiji, and formerly of South Australia, aged 64 years, beloved father of Mrs. J. Knox, Hutt street, Adelaide.

The Fiji Argus of June 18th says: Mrs. Morton, the much respected wife of Captain T. Morton, an old resident in Fiji, and now in Sydney for the purpose of obtaining medical advice for a dangerous cancer, we regret to say expired at her residence in this town on Saturday last. Her remains were attended to the grave on the following afternoon by a large number of friends.
