WEARING a simple frock ot delphinium
'» blue lace, Miss Ellen Margaret Aldus
was married to Mr Edmund Hayes at the
Sacred Heart Church, Kew, last month.

The bride is the second daughter of Mrs
Aldus, of Kew, and the late Mr W. J
Aldus, and the bridegroom the eldest son
of Mr and Mrs E. J. Hayes, of Glenhuntly.
Closely fitting her slender figure, the bridal
frock was made with a high, cowl neck
line, and wrist-length sleeves coming well
over her hands, and the slender-fitting
skirt just touched the ground. Pinnea
low on the corsage in front was a bunch
of tiny pink rosebuds and she carried an
ivory prayer-book, Her hat of matching
blue felt was turned up in front and fin
ished with a flat velvet bow.

Miss Joyce Aldus was her only at
tendant. She wore an old gold satin gown
with brown accessories. After the cere
mony, an informal reception was held at
the home of the bride's mother.
