WEDDINGS. .
BRABY— FLEET.
A very pretty wedding was solemnised st
St. John's Church, Brandon, at Saturday.
August 24, at 6.30 p.m. The bride was
Ellen (Nell) Frances, second daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. F. Fleet. Brandon, and the
bridegroom, George Ernest, third son of
the late Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Braby, of Ayr.
The bride entered the church, which was
nicely decorated by her friends, on the arm
of her brother-in-law. Mr. Ted Thompson.
She wore a frock of Swiss shadowed or
gandl over taffeta, the bodice made with a
high neckline, the skirt falling very fun
to the floor, finished with a bustle bow,
Her veil of embroidered tulle was kindly
lent by Mrs. Dallow. sister of the bride.
She carried a sheaf of fern, gladioli and
eucharist lilies. The bridesmaids In attend
ance were Mary, sister of the bride and
Miss Dorothy Taylor. They were frocked
alike In blue and pink pin-spotted orsjsndl
frocks over taffeta. A spray of sweet peas
held In place their blue and pink tulle veils,
and they carried sheaves e* pink gtodlol
and fern. The bouquets were the gifts of
Mr. Martin Braby. They also wore the
bridegroom's gifts, sold cross pendants. Mr.
Charles Braby acted as best msn and Mr.
Jack Fleet was groomsman. Rev. J. R. Roy
Innes officiated at the ceremony, after
which the reception was held at the
Masonic Hall. The bride's mother received
the guests, wearing a frock of navy blue
domTt She was assisted by Mrs. R. Paterson (sister of the bridegroom), wearing
a frock of maroon crepe Sahara. They
carried posies of sweet peas. The feature
attraction on the table was the two-UBjd
cake, (he gift of the bride's brother, Mr.
Frank Fleet. The presents recelvedwere
numerous and costly. Including several
cheques. Their future home will be In Ayr.
