http://www.genesreunited.co.uk/boards/board/trying_to_find/thread/1079851 My great Aunt Dorothy Augusta Allport was born in Middlesex in 1900. When she was two her mother died and she was put into a childrens home possibly in Sussex. She eventually married Alfred Dorman in 1925 but I know nothing about her childhood. I am trying to find out exactly where the childrens home was but do not know how to go about it. Died 1999
