OBITUARY. .
MRS. ELIZABETH ANN LASSETTER.
Mrs. Elizabeth Ann Lassetter, who died on Tuesday night, was the daughter of the late Mr. John Macquarie Antill, of Jarvisfield, Picton, and was 56 years of age.
She married the late Brlgadier-General H. B. Lassetter in 1891. Her late husband predeceased her in February, 1926.
Mrs. Lassetter leaves one son (Mr. Frederic M. Lassetter), of Farleigh, Woollahra, and one grandson. Matthew Lassetter, aged 5 years.
The funeral will leave Jarvisfield, Picton, at 2 p.m. to-day for interment in the family vault at Jarvisfield.

AUSTRALIAN PASSENGERS TWO SYDNEY PEOPLE SAVED. Sydney, May 9. Among the passengers saved were Mm. H. B. Lassetter, wife of Colonel Lassetter of Sydney.and her son, Lieut. Frederick M. Lassetter, who left Sydney on March 27 for England via America. Lieut. Lassetter on the outbreak of war left Oxford University and joined the London Scottish Troops as a private. He was wounded in France and was invalided home. Accompanied by his mother he paid a visit to Australia to recuperate and was subsequently gazetted lieutenant. He was travelling by the Lusitania on his way back to the seat of war. His father Colonel H. Lassetter, is at present in command of a brigade at Nottingham.

According to a London cable message, Captain Frederick Lassetter, of Sydney, has passed with first-class honours his final examination for the Bar, being second in the whole of England.
