VICTIM DIES IN HOSPITAL.
MELBOURNE, September 23.
Frederick Ling (aged 39 years), married, of Shaftesbury-street, Coburg, died in the Melbourne Hospital to- day from a fractured skull and other injuries. Ling received his injuries in a fight outside his home on August 26.

CHILDREN'S PARTY ENDS IN A FIGHT
MAN BADLY INJURED
Melbourne, Thursday.
An argument at a children's party at Coburg last night resulted in Frederick Ling (39) being admitted to hospital in a serious condition with a fractured skull. It is stated that exception was taken to the action of a woman, and in a few minutes a serious position developed in which her husband joined. Ling, it is stated, was struck on the head with a bottle when leaving the house.

MANSLAUGHTER CHARGE DEATH OF PRINTER MELBOURNE, Wednesday. Frederick Emanuel Ling (39), a. printer, of Shaftesbury Avenue, Co burg, died in the Melbourne Hospital on September 23 from the effects of a fractured skull and other injuries re ceived outside his hone on the evening of August 26. At the inquest to-day the coroner found that the injuries were received when he was struck and knocked down by Leslie Edgar Duncan. Duncan was committed for trial on a charge of manslaughter.
