Casterton Free Press and Glenelg Shire Advertiser 13 March 1916 Sad Shooting Fatality at Wando Vale. A sad shooting accident occurred at Wando Vale last Friday evening when Mr Thomas Yelland of Melbourne, met his death from a gun shot wound. Mr Yel and, whose health had not been satisfactory for some time, was on a visit to his brother-in-law, Mr R. H. Bear, of Wando Vale.
