WILLIAMS—MAWBY.—On the 19th April, by the Rev. I.
Harding, George John, eldest son of Mr. Joseph Wil-
liams, to Mary Anne, second daughter of Lawrence
Mawby, Esq., both of Cooper's Plains.

her deceased Husband, Mr. George
Williams, to move from his late residence,
Stanley ter., Taringa, TO-MORROW (Thurs-
day) FORENOON, at 10 o'clock, for the Too-
wong Cemetery.

The Week (Brisbane) 11 April 1919
MR. GEORGE WILLIAMS.
Mr. George Williams, ol Stanley ter
race, Taringa. died suddenly on the foot
path at Belle Vue parade, Taringa,
on the 8th of April. Mr. Williams, who
was assistant clerk - to the Taringa Shire
Council, was out on official business at
the time of his death, he was seen to
stagger on the footpath, and then sit
down. He expired almost immediately
afterwards. A post mortem examination
showed that death was due to acute
oedema of the brain. The deceased, .
was 74 years of age, was a well known
figure at Taringa, and much sympathy
will be felt for his widow and family in |
the bereavement they have sustained.
