Victoria) was married to Miss Elizabeth Speedy (second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Speedy, of Corona, Ashgrove. The Rev. Father M'Carthy officiated. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a charming gown of lace, with a large cream lace hat. ornamented with ostrich feathers. Miss Speedy (sister of the bride) acted as bridesmaid, and wore a white hailstone muslin toilette, profusely trimmed with lace and insertion, and a large white hat, the crown composed entirely of Point lace, surmounted with buttercups and black velvet streamers. Mr. Jack Speedy (nephew of the bride) acted as best man. Immediately after the ceremony the wedding party motored to Corona, where a wedding breakfast was served, only relatives and a few intimate friends being present, including the "Rev. Father M'Carthy. Mr. and Mrs. R. Speedy. Mr. and Mrs. Moran. Mr. and Miss Cassidy. Mrs. and Miss Leahy. Mr and Mrs. Oldham. Mr. and Mrs. Hackett, Mrs. C. Campbell (sister of the bride). Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Speedy. Mrs. Gilfoyle. Mrs. and Miss Breen. Misses Millie Gallagher, S. Downie. M. Downie, Johnston, Hashings, Easlie. Mrs. J. Speedy Messrs. Dwyer. H. de Boucherville, T. Martin. and master Arthur Speedv. Subsequently Mr. and Mrs Hayes-Good left for Toowoomba for the honeymoon, prior to their departure for their home in Victoria. Mrs. Hayes-Good wore a handsome grey costume, relieved with guipure insertion, and a grey hat ornamental with pink foliage and flowers. The presents were numerous and handsome. The catering was excellently carried out by Webster's Cafe Majestic.
