QUINLAN— RUDD.
At .St. Patrick's, Church Ilill, Sydney,
on 28th November, the marriage of Mr.
Henry C. Quinlan with Miss Grace Rudd,
eldest' daughter of the late Mr. W. Rudd,
Mimosa Station, Wagga, took place iri the
presence of a large number of guests and
spectators. The very Rev. P. B. Kennedy,
O.F.M.,' officiated, assisted 'by the Very-
Rev.' Fathers P. le Rennetel, S.M., and J.
J. Mahony. During the 'ceremony Mis!
Sylvia Blackston sang Luzzi's Ave Maria,
arid the Wedding March (Mendelssohn's)
was played by Mr. -Sydney Hoben. The
bride, wore a white duchesse satin, the
skirt being made in pointed Vandykes, laced
with silk cords, and falling from under
each point was white pleated chiffon. Tho
bodice was draped with rose point lace,
and fastened with a white, bird on the left
shoulder. The train was of ivory brocade,
falling from the shoulder, with, ruehings of
chiffon and knots of orange blossom. Tlie
bridegroom's gift was a shower bouquet
and pearl dagger brooch. The Misses Rudd
(2), Gilbert and Thomas were the brides
maids; whilst Miss Kathleen Lyons and
Master Jack Quinlan acted as train bearers.
The bridesmaids wore white silk voile,
trimmed with lace and bebe ribbons. _ 'Each '
bridesmaid also wore a long tulle veil, fas
tened with white .ostrich feathers. They
each received a gold bamboo bangle as
gifts from the bridegroom. Messrs. J. V.
Connolly, H. A. Conant, W. II. Drew and
B. Keane acted as groomsmen.
