Note 1: Reg No 1925/B45307 - parents Herbert Fitzalan and Ages Hughes Bowen Independent 17 March 1925 DEATH OF MR H. FITZALAN. Word was received on Saturday last -that Herbert.-Fitzalan passed away on the previous, night. De ceased was the eldest son of Mrs Fitzalan, Don River and it will be remembered was in business here with Mr R. Carson, and left, a few years,ago and purchased a commis sion agency in Brisbane. He was a grandson of the late Herbert Fit zalan, one of the earliest residents of Bowen, who laid out the Botan ical Gardens, and planted those beautlful fig trees that will shade so "many persons at. the St. Patrick’s Sports to-day. He leaves a wife and 2 young children; a mother, sister and brother to mourn their loss.
