MR. F. S. MITCHELL. A well-known and highly-esteemed resident of Spotswood, Mr. Frank. Sneddon Mitchell, died on Sunday morning at Gresswell Sanitorium after a prolonged illness. Born at Bendigo, 34 years ago, he had resided locally for 20 years, and took part in any movement for the progress of the district; for some years he was secretary of the Spotswood Progress Association, which he relinquished lately owing to ill-health. He was the youngest son of Mrs. Isabella and the late William Mitchell. The funeral took place on Monday, leaving the residence of his mother, 123 Hudson's-road, for the local cemetery. Ernest W. Jackson carried out the funeral arrangements, and the Rev. Noel Danne held a house service, and officiated at the cemetery.
