EAST GRETA FATALITY.
Mr. John Walton, who was seriously In
jured at the colliery early in the week,
died yesterday in Maitland Hospital. De
ceased sustained dreadful injuries on his
face and body as the result of, an explosion
of gunpowder. He was admitted to the
hospital on Monday, but never rallied. He
was 46 years of age, and was married. The
funeral leaves his late residence, East
Greta, at 2 p.m, on Sunday.
