The "Delta Advocate" reports the death of Mrs. J. Keyse, an old North Queensland resident, who passed away in the Rosslyn Private Hospital on Wednesday evening of last week, at the age of 60 years. Deceased was a native of Bowen where she was married. Mr. and Mrs. Keyse and family left Proserpine for Ayr about seventeen years ago, after residing here for 19 years. Mr. Keyse having farming interests at Preston. In addition to the husband, a grown-up family of four sons and two daughters are left to mourn, they being, Bertram, John, Leslie, Alfred Leonard and Mrs. P. Tait and Mrs. Harry Barrie, all of whom reside in Ayr. (Two sisters of the deceased lady are Mrs. W. Morgan of Bowen, and Mrs. Mill- ward, of Ingham, while there are also two brothers.)
