PERONAL
Mr. William Cllstett Hicks passed away at the Ayr District Hospital early on Monday morning at the age of 70 years. The late Mr. Hicks was a well-known resident of Ayr, having resided there for the past 20 years. He came to Australia from England about 40 years ago, and had resided at Mackay and Townsville; before settling in the Lower Burdekin. The funeral took place on Monday after noon and was largely attended, the Rev. J. H. R. Innes conducting the last rites.
