baptism record of son William Marshall (her husband) had bequeathed the Crich Manor House below Edge Moor - the "Pot House" - to Grandmother Mary. When this was put up for sale on October 16 1866 Denman Mason was given authority, as her agent, to receive the monies from the sale.
